Selecting
a Good Care Giver
Care givers are very
responsible for a house. In a family of busy schedules, planners
and organizers filling the tables, it is the care giver or the house
keeper who takes care of the house and fills it with love, care
and affection. Housekeepers in Jersey or in any part of the world
will have to do the same thing, providing care and support - but
in a different context. The job is very delicate and it has to be
handled with care. It also gives us an alarm that the selection
of these people requires better strategies and evaluation patterns.
An interview
This requires
a different set of activities. There will be many interviews to
be faced. There should be an interview for all the people in the
family with the one who is applying for the job. The series of interviews
must show the caregiver the overall picture of your house and your
culture; this will help the nanny to get involved very quickly once
she is into the job. Pick a nanny who is positive.
Experiences
They also
mean experiences as a care giver or a mother or a sister. Also consider
her family details, the way in which she was brought up, her previous
experiences and glimpses of past life. Ensure that she clarifies
herself before getting into the job. She will be the most experienced
one. That is a check point.
Be diplomatic in choosing, because this means a lot to you. Be very open and sound in expressing your ideas. Ask your children or elders whether she will form the best nanny of the house.
