Nannies-Quality Assurance plan

Nannies and child minders are being invited to join in the pilot project.Homerton Nursery school Childminding Network wants to proffer nannies the remuneration of joining a child minding network and quality-assurance scheme. The childminding network co-ordinator, Jo Scrutton says "Habitually nannies have been the forgotten home-based childcare practitioners, neither registered nor offered the opportunities for the training and professional progress other childcare settings can access" Childminding networks offer parents the awareness that practitioners have attained and are maintaining high standards of care.
