Hiring male housekeepers are more affordable. In contrast to housemaids, mens are stronger and work for a long time. The cost of housekeeping for a men cost about NIS 30 (USD 6.40) per hour, while women charge about NIS 40 (USD 8.50) per hour. But despite of these advantages many people favor women housekeepers mainly because of the anxiety of allowing strange men into their home and the discernment that women clean better than men.
