A baby nurse is a new born specialist who should have deep understanding of the developmental and physical stages of newborns rather than be licensed practical nurses. They will be helpful in teaching the parents regarding care for their infant including bathing, feeding, diapering, dressing, laundry and maintenance of the baby´s room etc. Some families believe that it is suitable to have the meeting of baby nurse with the mother´s doctors along with the pediatrician.
