EDUC-6016 - Applied Toddler Development
This course will examine current theories of physical, emotional, cognitive, and social and language development from 18 to 36 months of age. Students will apply this knowledge to teaching methods and gain skills necessary to create responsive and individualized curriculum. Students will be encouraged to share their experiences with each other as part of the learning process.

This course will present advanced knowledge regarding specific health, safety and nutrition needs of infants and toddlers. Detailed nutritional information, health issues and safety measures for this age group will be discussed in this course.

This course will look at observation and developmental screening procedures exclusively for infants and toddlers. Students can able to research as well as learn all the current issues and practices related to infant and toddler development.
