Nanny of child killed by car recovers at hospital


The nanny of a 3-year-old boy who was killed when they were both hit by a car Tuesday was improve from dangerous to serious condition today.

Tatyana Yaroslavskaya, 60, remained at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick today after she was hit by a car at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday while walking 3-year-old Andre Pankratov in his baby carriage.

Andre was marked dead at the hospital at 10:55 p.m. that night. There is no crosswalk were the misfortune did not occur, nor any street lights, although neighboring streets are lighted. Police said it was improbable the driver saw Yaroslavskaya and Andre, and no accuse have been filed.
