Push for live-in nannies in care scheme

The people who offer in-home care training for the existing program are the same sort of people who would be providing level-two certificate that we suggest in our report that should be provided. Family and Community Services Minister Mal Brough insist the introduction of regulatory system by the Government as well as the responsibility of the states normally for a specific in-home care program aimed at remote families or shift workers. The Government said the announcement made less than a week was a coincidence after the inquiry chaired by Ms Bishop handed down its report. Moreover, the Government declines to portray the careers in the program same as nannies, insisting they are synchronized childcare workers with no other domestic duties.
