Child care an issue for working parents

Edmonton parents hunting for a nanny can be in for a sober issue of the baby blues. Local agencies stated there is an available shortage of live-in and live-out nannies in the city. Many people are working two to three jobs, so they absolutely require nannies, said Paul McKenney, owner of Alberta International Domestic Agency. There are many online nannies selecting options a well. Adding to the nanny shortage is the fact that live-in caregivers tend to transform jobs once they could, stated ex-nanny Maria Cabua. Nannies do not actually make good money. You look after so many kids and you get paid a really low (salary), said Cabua, who would start her own home day care in Millwoods in July. About 100 clients get housekeepers service every week and Paulsen fields 25 calls every day.
