What to hire a Nanny? Read this

Before hiring a nanny or a child care person you need to ask certain question and need to trust your own instincts. A nanny or au pair would offer your child individual notice in the safe setting of house. Keep these things in mind:

  • Make sure you carefully check with prospective nanny's references and work history
  • Don't be shy; just ask any question related to the nanny's work. This will make you feel comfortable.
  • Make sure you give your children time to interact with the prospective nanny or au pair. Always hire on a trial basis. Personalities often clash, and a trial period makes it easier to fire the nanny should it come to that. As with a day care center, trust your instincts. Hire someone you and your children like and are comfortable with.

Nanny saved 2-year-old girl from coyote

A nanny saved a 2-year-old girl from the jaws of a coyote last week Friday when the animal harassed the child and tried to take her away in its mouth, professionals said. The girl was just playing around in a sandbox at Altura Park about 10:30 a.m., when the nanny heard screaming and saw the coyote with the kid, officials said.

The child care nanny took the child away from the coyote, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department stated in a statement. The coyote then ran into near brush. The child, who underwent wounds to her buttocks, was taken to Chino Valley Medical Center and later discharged, stated Anne Marie Robertson, director of nursing.
